Booooooo . . . Poor sports . . . Sore losers!

I'm trying to show a 9 year old how to behave in this world and we were " lucky " enough to get a section with " adults " who threw things at us, and kicked us throughout the game. Your fans have no respect for other fans, themselves, the Devils, or the venue! I am all for a good ribbing and smack talk, but throwing things and kicking people, grow up! This was an early birthday gift for my child, 4 hour drive from our home without stops. Thank you for trying to make it a crap experience, however, we are resilient and had a good time even though the fans around us tried to make it otherwise. The best way I can describe the treatement was, even though we lost and the Devils won, the fans around us acted like poor sports and sore losers.

Good Hockey, Expensive Concessions

The Prudential Center is located right in downtown Newark, and it's an easy walk (via interior walkways) from the Penn Station. Neighborhood is fine, and there are a couple of clubs nearby. Positives: the Devils are playing good hockey this year. Negatives: arena has five levels, and you really are in the nosebleed seats if you buy tix in one of the balconies. Pay more for the lower bowl. Biggest negative is the price of concessions. $12 or $13 for a burger? $13 for a tallboy of Rolling Rock, one of Anheuser- Busch's cheapest beer? I have hit every major league baseball park and most of the NHL arenas. This is the most expensive (and overpriced) I have seen. Eat before you arrive!
